A change is as good as a rest

Why the title of this blog post? Well, because my mom wrote me that once in a letter, and I've given it a lot of thought ever since. I think it proved true this past week. While the change involved work-related travel, it was still really nice to get out of town and out of the grind. Here's a few pics:



Duke: Perhaps the most gorgeous university campus I've ever visited. It's like a state park with castles scattered throughout. It made me feel inspired to learn something, and I was tempted to wander into the lecture I passed by. But I opted out because I was afraid the teacher might ask me who I was.


In case you were wondering, in Rock Hill, South Carolina they make homemade clothing for their Main Street furniture. I have no idea why, but I found it very amusing.
